Well, like most stubborn masculine men, the thought of going to a fabric store was just not his idea of a good time. One day I told him the fabric store has really cool poker prints, so he told me to just “make me a damned poker shirt” about a week later I called and told him that his poker shirt was complete and brought it over to his house. I took the poker shirt out of the plastic hanging bag, and he was shocked. First of all, he has never had a casual shirt made for himself and the poker fabric was simply amazing! He tried it on, and it felt so good, he truly did not want to take it off. After that, I created an assortment of poker shirts for him, and it was then that I realized that other people might love these shirts and that I should start my very own line of men’s poker shirts.

One Friday afternoon my friend went to Hustler Casino in Los Angeles to have a glass of wine and play Texas Hold’em. As he sat at the table sipping his wine, and I kid you not, three people inquired about his poker shirt. Well, he gambled a bit, then went home and called me and told me that I needed to offer these poker shirts to others, as he truly felt after the complements that he received, that they are amazing unique shirts.

My First Time Winning In Vegas This Weekend!

Hello my Dahhhhlings,

this is your GlamGirl giving you the latest “Talk of the Town”!!

Remember your first time winning money when you gambled? ..Well darling, I have FINALLY won my first time playing the slot machine, (other wise known as the one armed bandit!) ..First of all, let me explain …I never win ANYTHING!!!! What a thrill, i’m one of those people that will play the slots and not get anything, but someone else will play the same slot machine and guess what??? DING DING DING!!!!

My winnings were not that much money, only five hundred big ones! All the loose change that I ever put into a machine, I got right back …lol I’m not one of those types who wins and then loses it all by giving it back to the casino, no darling, I cashed out and in my bra it went for safe keeping. I don’t have stupid written on my forehead …lol

Whether you win or loose, Vegas is a numbers game:

Whether or not you’re going to get reservations at that restaurant you’ve been dying to try;
Whether you’ll have to stand in an hour-long line for the buffet or wait (and wait) for a seat at the blackjack table;
And whether you’re going to see Bette Midler live in concert or settle for a Midler impersonator at the Riviera Casino’s “La Cage” show.

Regardsless, it felt great being a winner for once, I screamed and jumped up and down so hard, I almost broke my high heel and spilled my cocktail all over my clevage ..lol All the excitment of the lights, bells and people everywhere was a big thrill for someone like me, who NEVER I mean NEVER wins anything!!!

I will try my luck again this weeked and write about my experience, hopefully with a little “lady luck” i’ll win again, cross your fingers, toes and eyes…lol!!!!

Don’t Go Into A Casino Looking Like A “BUM”!!!!

Hello again my Dahhhhlings!!!!!

It is “I” your roving HOLLYWOOD DIVA back from the hottest “Poker Tournaments” this weekend, dishing the dirt on who wore what ..and ..who shouldn’t be wearing you know what!!!!! LOL ..wink wink!!!;)

I’ve never seen so many rags on the backs of all these gorgeous men playing Texas Hold ‘Em since ..Cinderella! ..Why with all that cash-ola, you’d think that they’d spend a little on their appearance! I would love to do a “poker player make-over” on some of these guys, even if you wear a nice tailored shirt that reflects the game of poker and a pair of khaki’s, you would stand out from everyone else while gambling.

Guys don’t understand that we women love to go to the casino and see a well dressed man winning the jackpot! That is why you see all the hot, most gorgeous women surrounding the guy who, besides being a winner, is dressed sharp from head to toe!

Don’t go into a Casino looking like a “BUM”!!!! …The Casino’s need to have a dress code for everyone, guys need to put some effort into your appearance, I get so many complaints from my really HOT girlfriends who are tired of men approaching them looking like they just walked off the basketball quart just because the guy won at Blackjack or Texas Hold ‘Em! ..BIG NO NO BOYS!!!!!

In my next blog entry, I will be taking notes offering my “Poker Player Make-Over Tips” to my friend John and his buddies at their Poker Tournament this weekend! ..Who knows, I might even see you!

“WHY NOT” Dress The Part When Playing Poker?

Hello my Dahhhhlinks,

this is your GlamGirl straight from the casino’s of Los Angeles and Las Vegas giving you the latest “Talk of the Town” in Poker Apparel. I have noticed that there seems to be a serious lack of “style” when it comes to men playing poker! There was a time when people used to dress up to gamble, I think men should return to that concept!

I just got back from some of the main Casino’s in LA and Vegas over the weekend and did not see any REAL STYLISH apparel! ..Oh the guys that I saw were winning at BlackJack and Texas Hold ‘Em alright, but it would have been more exciting to see men “Dressing the part when playing Poker! ..I mean, just immagine how good you’d feel with all the compliments that you would get from other people as you enter the casino, win the jackpot and cash in your winnings! I think men should wear more shirts that reflect the fact that they love to play poker.

Even the professional gamblers that i’ve seen on tv could use a “poker player makeover” It is my mission to start a “NEW” movement to get men to start dressing nicer when playing Texas Hold ‘Em or Blackjack, even if you are playing at home with your buddies! ..After all Darling, what good is all that money and success if you don’t dress or look the part?
